紐約譚文筠(Glory Hom)妹妹的背後故事充滿血和淚，也充滿奮鬥和恩典。

二○○五年三月九日的一次普通驗血，文筠被發現罹患了血癌絕症。關心她的弟兄姊妹不斷向上帝呼求；祈求上帝憐憫和醫治，亦積極於世界各地推動驗血運動，期望能尋找合適骨髓，搶救命懸一線的文筠。

負責於香港地區發起驗血運動「救救文筠」的負責人吳桂行弟兄表示文筠對生命永不放棄的奮鬥精神是我們需要學習的，她一生的經歷印證了她是全心全意倚靠上帝的生命鬥士。

文筠現年十九歲，就讀於波士頓衛斯理學院。她本身是一位游泳健將，夢想是代表美國參加奧林匹克運動會。但四年前，她被發現患上骨癌，醫生把她其中一條腿鋸掉。這個巨大打擊沒有改變她對運動的熱誠，她雖然不能游泳，但改為學習乒乓球。在化療期間，她堅持學習，最後她的學業成積打破其高中學校的記錄而順利進入名校衛斯理學院。在上帝的恩典下，文筠終於戰勝骨癌，醫生宣佈已成功治療。

文筠希望自己有一天能成為醫生，醫治患癌症的病人。但正在朝此目標努力的時候，醫生又宣佈她患上血癌。懇請主內弟兄姊妹在禱求中記念文筠，求神憐憫和醫治。

文筠是紐約華人教會「中華海外宣道會」譚俊德牧師的獨女。在譚牧師眼中，女兒從小乖巧、文靜，十分喜歡參加教會活動。

文筠患上骨癌和血癌，是雙重的打擊，但她沒有埋怨上帝，反而決心成為研究和治療癌症的醫生。

現在文筠唯一的希望就是從華人中尋找合適骨髓作為移植之用。

吳桂行弟兄現正協助「香港骨髓基金」舉行一次三千人之大型驗血行動，期望能拯救文筠及其他血癌病友，邀請主內弟兄姊妹前來參與、支持。

希望你不會介意我上次的指正。另外，如果你經常胃痛，最好還是找醫生仔細檢查一下，否則到大病才來醫那就不好了。對於你在詩班時的遭遇，深表同情。我知道在一些小的教會中帶詩班的人，對音樂的認識和了解相當有限。而身為指揮／司琴的，並沒有一對指揮／司琴的眼睛、耳朵和腦袋，這最令我光火。連譜上面寫得清清楚楚的東西也會看錯、做錯、或錯誤了解，又不懂因現實情況而作適當的配合，這些人還是叫他們重新上音樂課吧。

偶然間, 按到了你既homepage, 一睇之下, 嘩, 你好厲害呀, 可以用"詩詞歌賦, 樣樣皆能" 黎形容呀...

而家你既final都應該差不多啦, 搵工上, 都唔駛太擔心既, 市道係就係唔多好, 不過都唔係完全搵唔到既, 係你既, 就始終都係你既.

There was a recorder band playing at the resort that I'm working at like a week ago , and it really reminded me a lot during the high-school years...still remember the New World Hotel?? I was really excited when I heard the recorder at my resort (coz I didn't even see them playing, I just immediately noticed that it's a recorder band when I first heard the lovely tunes)...I really missed those years when we were gathering together and spreading the musical pixie dust at Christmas time~~

小小意見:個人認為版面用了過多Frame,如在640*480之下,每一個Frame都不能全部顯示,造成不便.始終,640*480是比較基本的解像度.
